Penarth and Dinas Runners Women winners at SSAFA 5K - Lisa - 2nd lady in Regional Championship and 2nd lady in series, Andrea 1st LV45 in Regional Champs and Yvonne 1st LV55 in Regional Champs.
Men's Vet winners 3x1 Self Transcendence Relay - Clem, Mike and Abyd
Well done to Knill, who as far as anyone can recall becomes our first club member to complete a full IronMan Triathlon. Knill travelled to Roth in Bavaria to complete the event to celebrate his 50th birthday !!
The Ironman involved a 3.8km swim which Knill completed in 1 hour 10 minutes, then a 180 km bike ride, done in 5:43 followed by a full 42.2 km marathon which Knill ran in 4:25, adding in the changeover times his total time was 11:32. What a fantastic effort that is.
Congratulations to Sharon on her marriage as she wedded Paul and becomes the new Mrs Haley.
And congratulations on their engagement between Jenny Lemon and Stuart Jones, both members at club.

Lisa Cleary has started 2011 where she left off the old year with a Pb. At Old Father Time this lunch time she ran 36:02. She was also 3rd lady at the Nos Galan Fun Run on Friday evening!
November 2010
Mandy Barrington, joined us in the summer from the Women's Running Network and ran the Florence Marathon on 28th November. It was her first marathon and she ran a fantastic 4:13:41, pretty impressive for someone who has not been running that long.
